Whereas, during the pre-registration period for filing for the Mass Meeting of the Carroll County Republican Committee, the minimum number of voting members allowed for any magisterial district filed an application, only one candidate filed an application for Carroll County Republican Committee Chairman, and less than 435 delegate candidates to the 9th District Congresssional District Biennial Convention filed an application for Nomination/Election, therefore the mass meeting agenda is being amended per the Party Plan, by the Chairman, and all qualified candidates are considered elected.
Per the Party Plan, since the number of persons filing for candidates for election or nomination for all offices does no exceed the number to be elected or nominated, the Mass Meeting has been cancelled.
Publication of this cancellation, shall be posted on reh Republican Party of Virginia website at www.virginia.gop and here at the Carroll County Republican Committee website.
